Daniela Elser wrote in her news.com.au column that Harry's decision to attend without his family is a significant "climb down" and that he may be ignored by other members of the royal family, including his closest relatives.
Elser suggests that while Harry has stated that the ball is in his father and brother's court, they have yet to respond. She goes on to say that Harry's attendance at the Coronation is likely to be viewed as a humiliation for him.
Elser also notes that the event will be watched by millions of people and that surviving the two-hour ceremony may be just the beginning of the emotional challenges Harry may face.
After the service, the King and Queen will reportedly be followed by a "final group of 15" who will represent the "heartbeat and future of [the] family."
