According to royal experts, the absence of the Duchess of Sussex at the historic event does not bother the Royal Family.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six, former BBC reporter Tom Bower shared that "everyone's delighted she's not coming."
Bower also joked that the Royal Family made sure Markle wouldn't attend by placing her in an inconspicuous spot and limiting her participation in the ceremony.
When Buckingham Palace confirmed that Prince Harry would attend the Coronation of King Charles, they stated that "The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet," raising eyebrows among royal commentators.
Furthermore, the ceremony falls on the same day as Prince Archie's fourth birthday.
Page Six reported that Markle felt it would be "inauthentic" for her to attend the coronation due to the drama that followed her and Harry's royal exit in 2020.
