Shields, who was a virgin at the time, got the "best kiss [she’s] ever had in [her] life" from Kennedy Jr. after a real date in Aspen, Colorado.
However, when she froze at the possibility of s*x, she decided not to go through with it. Shields was afraid that if she slept with him, he might not talk to her again, and she didn't want to be hurt.
