Details of Meghan Markle and Zara Tindall's Friendly Exchange

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a significant decision to step down from their senior royal roles in 2020. However, on a few rare occasions, the couple made appearances at royal events.

Harry made his return for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip, in 2021. On the other hand, Meghan's first notable public reunion with the royals took place during the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations the previous year.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, while waiting for their cars on the steps of the Cathedral, Meghan engaged in a friendly conversation with Harry's cousin, Zara Tindall. Lip reader Juliet Sullivan decoded their exchange, which included a sweet compliment from Meghan to Zara, according to the Mail Online.

Sullivan revealed that Harry and Zara briefly discussed the location of their respective vehicles, after which the Duke admired Zara's vibrant outfit. He said, "Love your outfit. I didn't know what colors you would wear — blue, pink, orange."

To which Meghan added, "You look great."

Judi James, a body language expert analyzed the situation for The Mirror and observed that Zara appeared to be holding herself back during her interactions with Harry and Meghan. James explained that although Zara seemed polite and friendly, her posture, with clasped hands and clutching her bag in front of her torso, indicated a lack of desire for further intimate engagement, despite Harry's attempts at a wide grin.

Considering the difficult times the Sussexes were experiencing as their relationship with the royal family deteriorated, James praised Meghan for her flawless appearance amid the challenging circumstances. James commented to The Mirror, "Her posture was upright, and her smile projected a sense of calm during this low-key appearance."
