Thankfully, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reached their destination without any reported accidents, citations, injuries, or arrests.
During their journey back home from the NYC Gala, both Harry and Meghan, accompanied by Doria Ragland, were pursued by paparazzi. The experience left the Sussexes "extremely upset and shaken," and they are still in shock over the incident.
A representative of the couple conveyed the details, stating, "Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms. Ragland were involved in a nearly catastrophic car chase orchestrated by an aggressive group of paparazzi." The relentless pursuit persisted for over two hours and led to multiple close calls with other drivers, pedestrians, and even two NYPD officers.
