British comedy icon John Cleese has expressed his support for Prince Harry
and Meghan Markle shortly after the coronation of King Charles.
Cleese made it clear that he empathizes with the couple, stating in an interview with GB News, "I do have sympathy with them [Prince Harry and Meghan Markle], yes. If I had the opportunity to have dinner with either the Royal Family or the ex-Royal Family, I would choose them."
Cleese's endorsement of Meghan and Harry follows a recent gathering in Montecito, where American actress Gwyneth Paltrow, her husband TV producer Brad Falchuk, as well as Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden, shared a meal with the royal couple.
The coronation of King Charles took place on May 6, with Prince Harry attending the event solo, without his wife Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet.
