Margot played the role of Naomi Lapaglia, the wife of Leonardo DiCaprio's character Jordan Belfort. In a 2016 interview with Vanity Fair, Margot discussed what it was like to film intim^te scenes with DiCaprio, revealing that it was quite uncomfortable.
Margot shared that her first proper on-screen s^x scene was with DiCaprio. She admitted that acting in a love scene in front of "tons of people" was not easy, and she found it quite awkward.
According to Margot, "Tons of people are watching you. It's so awkward. It's just like, this is what you need to do - get on with it. The sooner you do it, the sooner you can stop doing it."
In addition to the discomfort of filming intim^te scenes, Margot also revealed the difficulty of pretending to make love on a huge pile of cash.
In a 2014 interview with The Daily Beast, she said that after a scene, her back was "covered in a thousand red scratches" due to the fake money. She noted that it was not as glamorous as it sounds, and that perhaps real money might have been softer.
Despite the challenges of filming The Wolf of Wall Street, Margot has continued to thrive in Hollywood.
She has starred in several successful movies, including the upcoming Warner Bros. film Barbie, in which she will play the iconic doll opposite Ryan Gosling as Ken. The movie, directed by Greta Gerwig, is currently being filmed in Los Angeles and is scheduled to be released in July 2023.
