Meghan attends mini royal replica scene for coronation in Windsor

In a miniature royal scene created by Babbacombe Model Village, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are depicted among tiny figurines of the UK royals present at Windsor Castle after the coronation of King Charles.

The scene, which took three months to create, shows the newly-crowned King and Queen Consort being taken through the streets of  Windsor in a horse-drawn carriage, surrounded by dozens of thumb-sized figurines, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Meghan is dressed in the outfit she wore when she and Prince Harry last appeared in public on the Windsor Estate after the death of Queen Elizabeth. The scene will be on display until the end of June.

Prince Harry will attend his father's coronation on 6th May at Westminster Abbey, but Meghan and their children will remain in California.

The coronation ceremony will follow the 70-year reign of Prince Charles' mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away last September. The coronation is expected to be full of pomp, pageantry, and traditions dating back 1,000 years.

The news of Harry's attendance was tweeted by Omid Scobie, a trusted contact of the Sussexes, who added that Archie's fourth birthday played a factor in the couple's decision to have Prince Harry make a brief trip to the UK for the ceremony.

In honor of the coronation, toy brand Matchbox has released CGI images of its own tiny royal replicas, including a 1:64 replica of the 261-year-old carriage that will carry the newly-crowned King and Queen Consort back to Buckingham Palace in a grand procession.
