PR guru, Mario Almonte, cautioned the Duchess of Sussex that reaching out to her family to reconcile privately or through the press would only lead to more harm than good. He claimed that her family members would likely leak the conversations to the media for their own personal gain.
In an interview with Express.co.uk, Almonte suggested that responding to her family's criticisms publicly would only fuel the tabloids' frenzy, amplifying their every petty criticism in hopes of triggering additional responses from Meghan. He concluded that Meghan can't win either way.
The expert also noted that the Markles have not demonstrated any real interest in ending their rift with the former actor.
He advised Meghan to ignore her family's negativity and continue to stay away from them, as engaging them in conversation or countering their claims in the press would only lead to a losing proposition. Her family members, he claimed, always play the victim and have an endless list of grievances against her.
