Levin suggests that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could have been a valuable asset to the Commonwealth by sharing their ideas on what it means to be a young royal in the modern era. Levin believes that Meghan would have enjoyed being around the exquisitely-dressed celebrities and world leaders at the coronation.
Additionally, by taking part in such a grand spectacle, the couple could have expanded their network of contacts and increased their popularity in the United States.
However, during the coronation, Prince Charles appeared emotional and regal, and Levin suggests that he would have appreciated some support from his youngest son, Harry. Thankfully, Prince William, the heir to the throne, gave his father a loving kiss, which demonstrated his concern.
Charles also made a significant gesture by including leaders from multiple faiths in the ceremony, which highlighted the values of humility, kindness, service, and compassion.
Levin points out that while Harry and Meghan frequently preach these values, they do not always practice them. Overall, Levin believes that Harry and Meghan missed out on an excellent opportunity to participate in the coronation and serve as role models for the next generation of young royals.
