This time, his dig came after a British tabloid's apology to the Duke on Wednesday. The former Good Morning Britain presenter seems to have reignited his feud with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by ridiculing the couple's privacy stunt.
In a recent tweet, Morgan shared a screenshot from a South Park episode that satirized the Sussexes' "worldwide privacy tour."
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle's husband, Prince Harry, is among several high-profile figures who are bringing claims against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) over alleged unlawful information gathering at its titles in a seven-week trial that began on the same day.
At the start of the hearing, the tabloid publisher "unreservedly" apologized to the prince for an instance of unlawful information gathering.
When asked by an ITV reporter if he would also apologize to the royal family over the claims, Morgan, who was editor of the Daily Mirror between 1995 and 2004, responded by saying, "All I am going to say is I am not going to take lectures on privacy invasion from Prince Harry, somebody who has spent the last three years ruthlessly and cynically invading the royal family's privacy for vast commercial gain and told a pack of lies about them.
So I suggest he gets out of court and apologizes to his family for the disgraceful invasion of privacy that he's been purporting."
Morgan went on to suggest that it was Prince Harry who should be apologizing for the invasion of privacy of the royal family and others.
