It is said that King Charles is keen on handing over the Royal Lodge in Windsor to Prince William and his family, while expecting Andrew to move to Frogmore Cottage, the former residence of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, the father of Princess Eugenie and Beatrice has adamantly refused to leave the Royal Lodge, where he has resided for nearly 20 years.
Prince Andrew apparently intends to adhere to the terms of the 75-year lease he signed two decades ago. The Times, citing a source from the palace, recently reported, "The lease is in the duke's name, so no one can take that away from him."
Meanwhile, a royal expert, Jordan James, who is the CEO of UnlockdPR, has offered some advice to the Duke of York amidst the alleged drama surrounding the Royal Lodge. James stated, "This is undoubtedly a challenging situation, and if Prince Andrew hadn't been engulfed in scandal, the public might perceive the decision as unfair."
"But given his severely tarnished reputation and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge commanding the national spotlight (and succeeding), I believe it would be in Andrew's best interest to gracefully step aside, lest he further resemble a tantrum-throwing toddler."
