Insiders claim that Prince Harry's priority was to be present for his father's Coronation but had no intention of staying beyond the main ceremony. Following the Coronation, Prince Harry was seen leaving in a BMW and heading straight to the airport.
His relationship with the royal family, particularly with his older brother Prince William, remains strained, with Prince Harry alleging in his memoir Spare that his brother physically assaulted him.
Despite being invited by King Charles for the portrait session, Prince Harry had no significant role in the Coronation and was placed in the third row of Westminster Abbey, while William was at the forefront.
As a non-working royal, Prince Harry was not part of the Coronation Procession from the Abbey to Buckingham Palace, nor was he invited to the Palace balcony.
