In a commentary piece for New.com.au, royal expert Daniela Elser remarked that the Duke of Sussex's trip was quite dismal in comparison to his brother William's, who enjoyed the public's adoration during the Coronation weekend.
According to reports, Prince Harry was driven straight to his Frogmore Cottage upon arrival in London on Friday. Elser described the Windsor home as his "soon-to-be ex-home," as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were evicted from it in March of that year.
Elser pointed out that Prince Harry faced a difficult weekend since he would be encountering the family members he had sacrificed in the name of catharsis, mammon, and the stock price of Netflix and Penguin Random House.
Even at the Coronation, Elser noted, there wasn't much warmth for Prince Harry, and it was unlikely that there would be any tender moments involving hugs or even handshakes.
Elser also mentioned that since this was probably Prince Harry's last stay at Frogmore, he spent most of his time reliving memories rather than catching up with friends.
Additionally, he may have gotten some payback of sorts, as he did not see his family outside of the Abbey during his visit, just as Charles had been "too busy" to see Harry during his previous trip to the UK in late March.
