Archie and Lilibet's Potential Involvement in Prince Harry's Content Cut with Sussex Deal

Archie and Lilibet's Potential Involvement in Prince Harry's Content Cut with Sussex Deal

Archie and Lilibet were potentially going to be part of Prince Harry's new content before the Sussexes' deal with Spotify was canceled. Prince Harry had plans to create a show focused on fatherhood, where he would likely share his own experiences as a parent.

According to a report by Bloomberg, the 38-year-old Duke of Sussex had several ideas for shows he wanted to develop.

In a similar vein, Prince Harry had expressed interest in interviewing notable figures such as Russian President Vladimir Putin, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and former US President Donald Trump about their formative years. Despite his efforts, none of these podcast ideas came to fruition.

In their previous Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the Sussexes featured their children, Lilibet and Archie, much to the delight of their fans. However, the partnership between Spotify and Archewell Audio came to an end, as stated in a joint statement, where both parties "mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together."

When the lucrative deal was signed in 2020, there were indications that Prince Harry might have had his own show as well. The Swedish streaming service had announced that the couple would "produce and host podcasts."

Recently, the Sussexes faced another setback when opinion polls in the United Kingdom revealed a decline in their support. A significant 68 percent of the 2,014 people surveyed held a negative view of the Duchess, while only 21 percent viewed her favorably. Prince Harry's favorability rating also saw a modest two percent drop to -36 percent compared to -34 percent in April.

However, it appears that Prince Harry's standing with the British public has somewhat improved since January, when his Megxit memoir, Spare, was released. During that time, his favorability rating had dropped to -44 percent.
