Harry and Meghan are ‘only nattering to A-list mates'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently faced accusations of producing content that is deemed "predictable and anaemic." The couple's podcasts have been criticized for primarily consisting of conversations with their A-list acquaintances while offering superficial self-help advice.

These claims were made by royal commentator and expert Daniela Elser. During a discussion, Elser pointed out the diminishing returns that Netflix seems to be experiencing as a result of their association with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

She questioned the effectiveness of the multibillion-dollar company's investment, comparing it to a quickly fading sparkler rather than a spectacular fireworks display on New Year's Eve.

Elser also analyzed the monetary aspect, revealing that the couple's reported payout of $US25 million ($36.7 million) amounts to approximately $40,326 per day. Even their half-hour episode focusing on reflections on the first year of the pandemic was described as lacking depth and being unoriginal.

Elser expressed that these podcasts were exactly what she expected from Harry and Meghan: casual conversations with celebrity friends interlaced with shallow self-help content.

However, she noted a lack of substantial output from the couple, emphasizing their failure to deliver consistent and engaging material.
