Harry and Meghan to sell ‘Spare’ rights for a movie deal?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly exploring the possibility of transforming their memoir, Spare, into a movie by selling the rights to a production company.

According to sources, the couple's future plans and potential income-generating endeavors have been under scrutiny.

These insiders shared their insights with the Daily Express, stating, "Harry and Meghan are in a favorable position.

Selling the rights would allow Harry to secure a substantial fee, and involving their organization, Archewell, could lead to a more lucrative 'double dip'."

This revelation arises from the ongoing partnership between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the prominent streaming platform Netflix.

However, despite their strong connection and considerable popularity, the duo has not achieved the same financial success as The Da Vinci Code in 2003, which earned $6 million (£4.8 million), or J.K.

Rowling's deals exceeding $2 million (£1.6 million). Another source expressed similar sentiments, acknowledging that "in these challenging times, nobody is splurging money like that."

Nevertheless, considering the success of Spare and Harry's influential status, it is anticipated that he could secure a record-breaking or near-record-breaking deal.
