Despite some news reports suggesting a potential improvement in their strained relationship, it seems that Prince Harry will not have the opportunity to see his father, King Charles, during his visit.
The reason for King Charles' absence during Prince Harry's visit is attributed to his planned excursion to Romania. He has set aside five days for this solo trip, which unfortunately means that there will be no chance for the father and son to reunite and rebuild their relationship during that time.
During Prince Harry's previous trip to the UK for court hearings, which took place a month before the Coronation ceremony, he was unable to meet with his father. This was because King Charles had embarked on his first royal trip as King, and Prince Harry also missed the opportunity to meet his brother William, as the Wales family had already left for their Easter holidays.
On that particular trip, Prince Harry had made a surprise visit specifically to provide his witness statement in a phone hacking lawsuit against the Daily Mail.
As Prince Harry prepares to return to his home country this time, it remains unclear where he will be staying. Recent reports suggest that the King issued an eviction notice to Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, from their British base, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
Although the relationship between the father and son has reached its lowest point in recent months, Prince Harry did attend the historic Coronation ceremony three weeks ago. However, his time in his home country was limited to a mere 27 hours, and he did not have the opportunity to meet with any family members during that brief period.
