Meet Whittock: Award-Winning Prince Harry Look-alike Earning Over $1K a Day

Introducing the award-winning Prince Harry look-alike, Whittock, who earns over $1K a day through his striking resemblance to the Duke.

Reports reveal that Whittock, known as Harry 2.0, ventured into the world of professional look-alikes in 2017, having been frequently approached by strangers who couldn't help but notice his uncanny similarity to Prince Harry.

Initially, Whittock felt apprehensive when Prince Harry made the decision to step away from the monarchy in 2020 alongside his wife, Meghan Markle.

He worried about the potential impact on his career as a look-alike. However, as time passed, it became evident that the royal couple would remain in the public eye, ensuring Whittock's continued relevance and demand.

Thanks to the ongoing court cases, book launches, and notable appearances of Prince Harry, Whittock's schedule has been consistently packed in recent years. He often earns more than $1,000 per day, attributing his success to the enduring spotlight on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Speaking with South West News Service, Whittock expressed his gratitude for the job, recognizing his fortune in resembling one of the world's most talked-about individuals.

Notably, his regal looks have earned him recognition and accolades, including winning EasyJet's "Best Prince Harry Lookalike in Europe" competition in 2018.

The look-alike has been involved in prestigious events, such as a private party for a billionaire's birthday in Macau, China, in 2018 and a TV advertisement in Tel Aviv, Israel, in early 2020. Whittock, an ardent admirer of the royal family, aspires to meet them one day, having been captivated by their presence since a young age.

Regarding Prince Harry's recent appearance in court as part of the case against Mirror Group Newspapers for phone hacking, Whittock believes that all publicity, even the legal proceedings, is beneficial for his own career.

He appreciates the authenticity of portraying the events using court transcripts, describing it as a significant opportunity to be associated with such a prominent story.

Whittock cheerfully acknowledges that as long as Prince Harry continues to make headlines, his own popularity and interest will remain high.

He jokingly claims that since he is one year older than Harry, he could humorously assert that Harry is actually his look-alike, playfully emphasizing his early arrival in the look-alike scene.

Whittock finds great joy in his profession and applauds Prince Harry's bravery in confronting the British press and standing up for his beliefs. As an established Prince Harry look-alike, Whittock eagerly awaits the continued prominence of the Duke in the media, recognizing that it only enhances his own standing as an in-demand look-alike.
