Meghan Furious with Harry for Attending Warrior Games Alone and Flirting Publicly

Meghan Markle was reportedly livid that Prince Harry attended the Warrior Games in San Diego without her. A Warrior Games Twitter account shared photos of Prince Harry during the event, which marked the final day of the 2023 competition.

Meghan had been looking forward to attending the event and was disappointed that Harry went without her.

In the photos, Harry can be seen engaging in a conversation with four women who were watching the event in San Diego. Although the content of their discussion is unclear, the spectators appeared delighted by the exchange.

It was Harry's first public appearance since his phone hacking trial in London, and he seemed to be in good spirits, cracking jokes with families, volunteers, and event staff. The Warrior Games holds significance for Harry, as it resembles his own Invictus Games.

During the event, Harry was seen having a deep discussion with Master Sergeant Michael Haley, one of the 40 injured veterans and active-duty service members selected to represent Team Army. He also exchanged words with General Gary Brito, the Commanding General of the Army Training and Doctrine Command, and posed with gold medal-winning veterans from the United States Special Operations Command.

Omid Scobie, a cheerleader for Meghan, retweeted the photos on Twitter. Omid, who co-authored the book "Finding Freedom" about Harry and Meghan, is known to be close to the Sussexes. This public outing marked Harry's first appearance since his return from London, where he provided evidence in his phone hacking trial against Mirror Group Newspapers.

During the trial, Harry acknowledged being familiar with journalist Omid Scobie but clarified that he only knew of him and did not have his phone number. The mention of Scobie came up during Andrew Green KC's cross-examination of Harry. Green quoted Scobie's previous remarks about the importance of sources in Royal reporting. Scobie is a Royal editor at large for bazaar.com. He was quoted in a newspaper article in August 2020, emphasizing the significance of anonymous sources in reporting on the Royal family.

It should be noted that Scobie and Carolyn Durand, the co-author of "Finding Freedom," claimed to have spoken to over 100 sources, including close friends of Harry and Meghan, Royal aides, and Palace staff past and present. In the book, they detailed various aspects of the couple's life. Scobie has denied being a mouthpiece or cheerleader for the Sussexes and has made previous claims about his exposure to voicemail hacking during his work experience at MGN.

Piers Morgan, the former editor of The Daily Mirror from 1995 to 2004, denied any involvement in phone hacking. A profile on Scobie published in The Sunday Times mentioned that he met Meghan in 2015 at Toronto Fashion Week before she began dating Harry. The profile also mentioned an alleged farewell hug he gave Meghan beneath the malachite candelabra of Buckingham Palace's 1844 Room after her final engagement as a working Royal.
