Prince Harry and Meghan Markle halt Netflix shows and books amidst backlash - 'Nothing left to say'

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly decided to step away from producing fly-on-the-wall Netflix shows or writing tell-all books, according to claims.

An insider suggests that the couple feels they have nothing more to share, particularly after facing criticism following the release of their Netflix series and Harry's memoir, titled "Spare." Since resigning from their roles as working royals, the Sussexes are said to only be interested in working behind the scenes on Netflix projects.

Their publicized criticism of King Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate during their interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021 received significant backlash. A source informed The Sun that the couple considers that phase of their lives to be over, as they believe there is nothing more to be said.

Recently, the couple claimed to have been involved in a harrowing car chase with paparazzi in New York, though witnesses and police later downplayed the severity of the incident. In a new career endeavor, Meghan has signed with Hollywood talent agency WME.

The agency represents notable clients such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, tennis star Serena Williams, and other high-profile individuals. A source suggests that the Netflix and memoir period marked Harry and Meghan's "era of visibility," and they hoped that 2023 would bring about reconciliation with the Royal Family.

However, Hollywood broadcaster Tim Dillon alleges that the couple is primarily interested in socializing with celebrities.

Dillon shared an anecdote about Meghan texting someone at a party he attended, emphasizing their persistent pursuit of attention. He likened them to reality stars who cling to any opportunity for relevance.
