The prince, son of Charles and Diana, has reportedly been spending more and more time apart from his wife, even resorting to finding solace in a secluded place to be alone.
Reports emerged suggesting he had been staying at a well-known hotel chain not far from their residence in Montecito, California. However, a spokesperson for the Sussexes promptly denied these claims.
Adding fuel to the rumors of separation are the declarations made by Paul Burrell, former butler of Lady Diana, who shared his insights on Sky News Australia. Burrell, who also served Queen Elizabeth II, has maintained a close connection with the royal family, including Prince William and Prince Harry.
He alleges that the latter is contemplating a split from Meghan Markle, with their relationship hanging by a thread.
However, it appears that, for now, the couple is refraining from initiating divorce proceedings, primarily to safeguard the well-being of their two children, Archie (4 years old) and Lilibet (2 years old). Harry is determined not to be separated from them and wishes to witness their growth.
It is difficult to fathom that Prince Harry would confide such matters to a former butler who he may not hold in high regard. In his memoirs, titled "Spare Prince," Harry accuses Burrell of capitalizing on his memories and experiences with the Windsors for financial gain. Burrell has indeed penned several books that delve into his years of service within the royal family, offering various anecdotes.
Paul Burrell's declarations about Harry waking up from alleged brainwashing inflicted by Meghan Markle have garnered attention. He questions, "Am I the only person in the UK thinking: Harry has finally woken up and is facing the truth?" Burrell further adds, "Has he finally realized what his wife is up to and that he's been hypnotized or bewitched by her beauty? We all see it, but he doesn't seem to grasp it."
The former butler also shares his thoughts on a potential return of Prince Harry to the royal family, stating, "I have no doubt that when he returns to the UK, because we all know it will happen, he will be welcomed with open arms by his father, the King, and his brother, the Prince of Wales." Despite his pointed words, Burrell retains a certain fondness for the young prince whom he watched grow up. He reflects, "There is this indescribable quality about Harry that we all love; we just can't comprehend why he is embarking on all this at this particular moment."
