As reported by Reuters, the devoted father of Lilibet and Archie will become the first senior British royal in 130 years to provide evidence in court.
The anticipated event will take place at London's High Court, where Prince Harry will take the witness stand. He joins over 100 other prominent individuals, including celebrities, who have filed lawsuits against MGN, the publisher of the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror, and Sunday People.
According to the report, this will mark the first instance of a senior member of the royal family giving testimony since King Edward VII appeared as a witness in a divorce case in 1870.
Two decades later, he also gave evidence in a slander trial related to a card game, both occurrences taking place prior to his ascension to the throne.
