Prince Harry's Memoir Could Backfire in Battle to Prove Claims?

Meghan Markle's husband, Prince Harry, who has been on a collision course with the tabloid press for years, is now set to appear in person in a courtroom to battle against them.

Legal experts have weighed in on the case, suggesting that the Duke may face a challenging encounter with a skilled cross-examiner equipped with a range of techniques aimed at undermining his credibility.

There is a concern that Prince Harry's own memoir, titled "Spare," could be turned against him, as it contains accounts of drug use and family tensions.

Historian and author Sir Anthony Seldon, as reported by the BBC, believes that Harry's decision to appear in court is ill-advised. He argues that the royal family should rise above such disputes and that Harry's reputation and future prospects will suffer, regardless of the outcome.

Sir Anthony added that the public's sympathy for Harry is diminishing due to his constant claims of victimhood. Additionally, he stated, "Harry and Meghan's ongoing tales of misfortune only serve to enhance William and Kate's public image in every aspect."

However, some royal commentators hold a different perspective. Pauline Maclaran suggests that in this court case, Harry will be seen as the underdog, which can work in his favor. She believes that many young people will view him as a heroic figure fighting against the establishment.

While the older generation may disapprove, Professor Maclaran, an academic at Royal Holloway, University of London, suggests that this situation could ultimately benefit Harry in the long run.
