Royal Family Snubs Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Daughter, Lilibet, Amid Escalating Feud

Lilibet, the daughter of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, seems to have been overlooked by the Royal Family. Despite turning two on June 4, there were no public tributes from senior members of the monarchy to commemorate her special day.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is preparing to appear in the High Court this week as part of his ongoing legal battle against MGN.

This court appearance is notable because he will be the first member of the Royal Family to do so since 1891 when Prince Edward, the heir to the throne at the time, was called to testify in the Royal Baccarat Scandal.

It is anticipated that Harry's statements during the phone hacking case will involve mentions of other members of the monarchy, further fueling the ongoing feud between the Sussexes and the senior royals.

Earlier this year, Prince Harry's legal team claimed that Prince William had settled a phone-hacking claim for a significant sum in a deal made between Buckingham Palace and Rupert Murdoch's firm during a separate case pursued by the Duke against News Group Newspapers (NGN). NGN is now seeking to have Prince Harry's claim dismissed, arguing that he should have brought it forward earlier.

Lilibet's apparent snub follows a similar situation in which no members of the Royal Family publicly wished her brother Archie a happy birthday on May 6. It is worth noting that Archie's birthday coincided with King Charles's Coronation, and reports suggest that the King held a toast for Prince Archie on that day, following the historic ceremony.

Prince Harry, who attended the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, hurriedly returned to the US to spend the evening with his son. While senior members of the Royal Family went to Buckingham Palace to witness the flypast, the Duke of Sussex rushed to Heathrow Airport to catch his flight home.

According to the Daily Mail, Harry's entire trip to the United Kingdom to witness his father's coronation lasted a total of 28 hours and 42 minutes.
