However, Harry stood firm in his decision to stay away from someone who willingly exposed Diana's secrets to the world.
In his own words, Prince Harry clarified, "I made up my mind about the kind of person I thought Paul was and was firmly against meeting him at this point in my life."
Prince Harry disclosed the intense emotions both he and William felt about Burrell's indiscretions. They believed their mother deserved privacy even in death, especially from someone she entrusted.
The way Burrell had sold Diana's possessions and given numerous interviews about her deeply set the brothers. Prince Harry candidly admitted, "We firmly believe she would have expected some privacy in her death, so we're upset the way he was behaving."
