US Airlines Steward Posts Pic of Drunk Prince Harry on Plane + Duke's Sneaky Valise Spill

U.S. airlines steward posts picture of Harry looking drunk on a plane and reveals that the Duke sneakily put a spare in his valise. An attentive cabin crew member was left surprised after Prince Harry gifted him with a copy of his memoir, "Talon."

On his flight to America, the flight attendant Holden Patton, who was on an American Airlines plane, happily shared a picture of himself with a smiling Prince Harry on his Instagram story on June 9th. The caption read, "Passenger Prince" along with a crown emoji.

Prince Harry landed back in the U.S. after spending several days giving evidence in court. During the flight, he happily posed for a picture with the flight attendant, Holden Patton.

Holden Patton said that Harry's offer to take a picture with him made him very excited, but he was surprised and annoyed when he discovered that Harry had secretly left his memoir, "Talon," in his suitcase. The flight attendant shared a comment on Instagram, saying, "Just found this in my luggage that a passenger put in," referring to the Duke of Sussex.

Holden Patton explains that it's unclear how Harry managed to sneak the book into his suitcase, but it was obviously a deliberate move to promote his book. The flight attendant also mentioned that he felt a little confused because he had never intended to read the memoir and doesn't have time to do so. He doesn't seem to be very interested in the book.

Additionally, he commented that he could smell alcohol in the picture, noting that Prince Harry looks slightly awkward in the photo, with both hands planted on the tabletop, indicating he may be unsteady on his feet.

Prince Harry had been on a whirlwind visit to the UK to give evidence in court against Mirror Group Newspapers, where he faced cross-examination. He became the first royal to testify in such a case since the 1890s. During the visit, he didn't take any time to see his family.

The prince is said to have landed in California on Thursday evening, indicating that he left Britain around lunchtime on the same day. Prince Harry was reprimanded by the judge of the case for not appearing on the first day of the trial, using the excuse of celebrating his daughter's birthday on June 4th. He then spent two days giving testimony in the trial, being the first royal to do so in 130 years.

While on the stand, Harry talked about growing up in the royal family and in the public eye, stating that as a child, every single one of the articles played a destructive role in his upbringing. It is also not expected for Prince Harry to return to the UK to take part in Trooping the Colour, which celebrates his father King Charles's birthday on June 17th. This will be the first time his dad celebrates the occasion as monarch.
