Graydon Carter, the former editor of Vanity Fair, has cautioned the royal couple about the potential consequences of their decision to step away from the royal family.
Carter believes that their choice will eventually haunt them when they realize that their children, Archie and Lilibet, have no close relatives.
Speaking to the Telegraph and quoted by GB News, Carter expressed his concern, stating, "They have done something that they will come to regret.
Their children have no immediate family members. They lack cousins, uncles, and aunts, and apart from one grandparent, they have limited contact with grandparents. This situation will undoubtedly have repercussions down the line."
This latest warning for Meghan and Harry arrives just ahead of their daughter Princess Lilibet's second birthday on June 4th.
The couple, who renounced their royal duties in 2020, relocated to the United States with their son Archie. Their second child, Princess Lilibet, was born in the US in 2021.
