Meghan Alone in Hollywood as Prince Harry Dumps Markle Over Crossing Every Line for a New $25M Deal

In a surprising turn of events, Meghan and Harry recently announced their departure from Spotify, marking another setback in their media ventures.

Despite signing a lucrative $25 million deal with the streaming platform, Meghan's podcast "Archewell Audio" lasted for only one series before being axed. Interestingly, their website still lists the partnership, leaving fans puzzled about the current state of their endeavors.

Even the initial launch of "Archewell Audio" was plagued by unfortunate circumstances. The podcast couldn't receive proper publicity due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth. The couple seemingly couldn't catch a break, as their explosive Oprah interview also failed to receive the desired attention due to Prince Philip's declining health.

According to sources, their attempts to establish themselves as global do-gooders were severely impacted by the pandemic that followed their announcement of stepping back from all royal duties in January 2020. Critics and industry insiders haven't held back in sharing their opinions on Meghan's talent as an audio personality.

Talent agent Jeremy Zimmer bluntly stated that being famous does not necessarily equate to being great at something. Additionally, Meghan's desire to interview Taylor Swift for "Archewell Audio" fell through, as the singer had to decline. It is clear that Meghan held Swift in high regard, admiring her as someone who embodies feminist values.

On the other hand, Harry's contributions to the podcast were reportedly limited, with sources suggesting that he prefers to avoid the spotlight as much as possible. In fact, it is said that he wishes to focus more on charity work.

Rumors are circulating about an almost finished documentary centered around his charity for servicemen, the Invictus Games. Netflix, which had previously released the docuseries "Harry and Meghan" in 2022 featuring the couple, has commissioned the upcoming documentary.

Not only do Meghan and Harry face their fair share of setbacks, but the platforms they once partnered with, such as Netflix and Spotify, are also facing financial constraints. Bloomberg reports that these companies no longer have the same financial capacity to invest lavishly.

In an attempt to turn their fortunes around, Meghan recently signed a management deal with WME, while Harry aims to prioritize his charitable efforts.
