The point I want to emphasize is that I can only relay what I have been told by a couple of individuals from the royal household and a staff member at Kensington Palace. I am in regular contact with several journalists in London, two of whom write a weekly column for a national newspaper.
However, these journalists are extremely cautious about what they disclose. I recall an incident from years ago when I had lunch with a Fleet Street journalist who requested to record our conversation, which is a common practice to avoid taking extensive notes.
However, after the meal, he turned off the tape recorder, and we engaged in an off-the-record discussion. To my horror, the subsequent article included the off-the-record information I had shared. It was a valuable lesson that reporters are not your friends, and you must exercise caution when speaking to them.
I remember this lesson every time I meet with a journalist who intends to use my words to craft an intriguing article that will please their editor. I always try my best to verify information. The truth is that staff members within the royal household communicate with each other, much like employees in any workplace, be it a shop, office, or factory.
They share news about what is happening at work. There are approximately 2,000 people employed by the royal family worldwide, with 400 of them working at Buckingham Palace alone. These individuals include security personnel, advisors, accountants, domestic staff, footmen, chefs, gardeners, plumbers, electricians, chauffeurs, and many more.
The list goes on. Secrets are virtually nonexistent within the palace walls because these employees are constantly exchanging information they have seen or heard.
These individuals are bound by strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) that prohibit them from profiting by disclosing information to the media. And rightly so. If they value their jobs, they must stay away from journalists. I realize I may be going off on a tangent, but I assure you I have a point. Perhaps I am similar to Meghan Markle in that regard, as I have gained experience over the years, whatever that may mean. Here's the crux of the matter: I simply relay what I have been told by individuals who are much closer to the events than I am.
To put it plainly, Prince Charles' monetary offer has nothing to do with the divorce settlement. The media has been buzzing in recent days with reports that Meghan is demanding either 50 million pounds or even 100 million pounds to walk away. Apparently, 50 million pounds falls significantly short of Meghan's expectations.
Allegedly, Charles is willing to pay her 100 million pounds to ensure her permanent silence and, more importantly, to resolve the issue surrounding the supposed invisible children. Charles simply cannot bear the daily onslaught of public letters questioning the existence of these children and demanding their removal from the line of succession. He is overwhelmed with worry, witnessing the monarchy crumbling before his eyes. Being king has proven to be an unexpectedly arduous task for him.
Apparently, Charles is currently receiving conflicting advice from his advisors, particularly those from the older generation. His closest confidant, Nicholas Holmes, is a 75-year-old who is reportedly strategizing Harry's return. On the other hand, Dr. Serene Ruhi Ahmed, one of the king's youngest advisors, is 57 years old. It begs the question of how much influence these individuals have over the monarch's decisions.
Behind the walls of the palace, discussions are underway regarding the figure of 100 million pounds. The royal family is well capable of affording this amount, and both Charles and Meghan are aware of that fact. It is crucial to remember that Charles is willing to make this payment because it will finally put the issue of the invisible children to rest.
However, there are people who fail to grasp the gravity of this problem. Consider this: the royal family has been complicit in including two invisible children in the line of succession. These children, at best, are not biologically related to Meghan. Furthermore, no member of the royal family has ever met these supposed children. It is widely believed that Meghan faked her pregnancies. Given these circumstances, it is likely that Harry will return to the royal family, and Meghan will insist on keeping the children with her in America.
The palace hopes that people will believe their narrative, and it is highly probable that they will. Eventually, everyone will forget about these children, providing the only way out for King Charles. Meghan Markle's lies regarding Archie and Lily have placed him in an incredibly difficult position. The king and the rest of the family are determined to avoid any further questions regarding fake pregnancies or non-existent children.
Another source has stated that the royal family has a great deal to protect. They will not risk losing everything. It has been made known that there was an investigation into bullying, and where there's smoke, there's fire. The admission of a bullying investigation implies that Megan did indeed bully staff members. If no evidence of bullying had been found, there would have been no issue with releasing the results. Hence, it is clear that bullying did take place.
The royal family will find a way to disclose information about the children. They may claim that they recently discovered the truth and that Harry was coerced into participating in Megan's deception. Alternatively, they may admit to having known about the situation but cite concern for Harry's mental health as the reason for postponing disclosure, all while relying on expert advice.
In my opinion, the king should be able to part ways with Meghan Markle without having to pay her a penny. Nobody will believe anything she says anymore, which would finally free the royal family from her web of lies. The king is far too intelligent to provide her with any financial means to keep her name in the news for years to come. In fact, everyone in the royal family has been waiting for the marriage to end. It would be best for their future relationship with Harry to wait until he has had enough of Megan and is ready to admit that the entire marriage was a grave mistake.
They can use concerns for Harry's mental health as an excuse for remaining silent about the deception, or they can deny prior knowledge altogether. The palace has had ample time to devise a strategy to handle this issue, and when the time comes, the spin machine will work overtime to ensure that people blame Megan instead of the royal family. The king will disclose the truth at the appropriate moment and refuse to live with such a significant lie, even if it means finding ways to avoid blame.
There are several ways for the king to deflect blame. He can discuss his concerns for Harry's mental health and personal safety, both of which the public would likely believe. Additionally, they could announce that the invisible children are no longer in the line of succession due to verifiable evidence proving their ineligibility.
While Harry's return to the royal family is plausible, there is no way that William and Catherine would tolerate his reinstatement as a working royal. Harry's derogatory remarks towards the people of the UK, including his family members, make it highly unlikely. At this point, the most Harry can hope for is being allowed to attend family events in the future.
However, he should not expect to benefit from public funds. It is safe to assume that his father will provide for him out of his own pocket, and any agreement should involve William when he eventually becomes king.
