Meghan Markle Delete from Archie's Birth Papers on Palace's Order, Surrogacy Confirmed

In a surprising and unprecedented move, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have quietly erased Meghan's first names from their son Archie's birth certificate.

The change was made after Poundland confirmed that the Duchess had used a surrogate for the birth of Archie. The original birth certificate, which showed Rachel Meghan as Archie's mother, was amended on June 5th to no longer include Meghan's name.

The alteration of the birth certificate raised eyebrows and fueled speculations about the dynamics within the royal family. Some commentators saw it as a possible snub to Prince William and Kate Middleton, as all three of their children's birth certificates include Kate's names.

Lady Colin Campbell, who discovered the amendment, labeled the couple's break from the royal family as 'Megxit.' The move surprised many, and royal experts found it remarkable, stating that it is unheard of for a royal to make such changes to a birth certificate and remove four names, suggesting evidence that Meghan may have used surrogates.

Omid Scobie, a royal reporter and author of 'Finding Freedom,' tweeted a statement from a spokesman for the couple, addressing the name change. The statement attributed the decision to the palace and confirmed it was dictated by senior Palace officials. It dismissed claims of a snub to other royals as laughable and offensive.

Meghan continues to use her royal title in various aspects of her life, such as for her recently published children's book, 'The Bench,' where she is listed as 'Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex.'

After relocating to North America, Meghan and Harry welcomed their second child, Lily. Her birth certificate reportedly shows Meghan's name as Rachel Meghan Markle, while Harry is listed as the Duke of Sussex, his Royal Highness. This is different from Archie's birth certificate, which listed Harry's full name as Henry Charles Albert David, Duke of Sussex.

It's worth noting that U.S. birth certificates require Meghan's maiden name and Harry's legal name, and this may explain the difference in the way their names are listed.

Reports of Harry spending time alone in hotels near their home in Montecito and in L.A. have sparked further speculation about problems in their marriage. Lady Colin Campbell claimed to have heard from five reliable sources that Harry had consulted lawyers months ago regarding a potential divorce.

As the public face of the couple contrasts with the rumors surrounding their marriage, it remains to be seen how things will unfold for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the future.
