According to Richard Minyards, a former Fleet Street reporter turned gossip columnist for the Montecito Journal, the Sussexes were spotted inspecting a local private school's campus, bringing them closer to making a decision.
School fees in the area range from $6,000 to $50,000 and beyond for older grades, with a high percentage of students going on to attend four-year colleges.
Currently, Archie, who will turn four on May 6th, is already attending a preschool kindergarten in the celebrity enclave of Montecito, where the likes of Oprah Winfrey, James Corden, and Katy Perry also reside.
Minyards explained the school choices facing the royal couple, noting the presence of excellent state-funded schools in the area, such as Cold Spring School and Montecito Union School, which attract children of affluent and famous families. On the private route, options include Laguna Blanca or Kate School, renowned for their quality education.
However, a recent report from a website called Celebrity has cast doubt on Archie and Lili's enrollment. According to them, the alleged preschoolers' institution has no records of their attendance in the United States. Critics have questioned Meghan's claims, suggesting that her failure to provide photographic evidence of her children attending school raises suspicion about their existence.
Rumors challenging the existence of Archie and Lili have been persistent, with some even calling Child Protection Services in Santa Barbara to investigate Archie's welfare before Lilibet's birth. Critics cite peculiarities in available pictures of the children, claiming they show differing facial appearances and inconsistent sizes that don't align with normal growth patterns.
