Meghan Markle's Desperate Quest for a Hollywood Comeback

The author suggests that Meghan Markle is actively seeking a way to return to Hollywood, spurred by rumors of her potential involvement in the casting of the movie "The Bodyguard." It has been reported that she received advice to pursue her career independently if she wishes to revive her Hollywood aspirations.

According to royal biographer Tom Bauer, Meghan Markle seems to be ready to resume her Hollywood career based on recent actions. Bauer addressed the claims that the Duchess of Sussex was being sought after for a role in "The Bodyguard" during an interview on Dan Wooden Tonight. Bauer stated, "Last week, we discussed how she had an awful week and was unsure about her next steps.

Consequently, this week, her publicists started spreading the absurd rumor that Kevin Costner wants to cast her in a new version of 'The Bodyguard.' This supposedly signifies Meghan's return to Hollywood, although she was never there in the first place. However, she needs to feel wanted."

When asked about the alleged problems in Meghan and Harry's marriage, Bauer told Mark Dolan that having different careers is not necessarily indicative of more serious relationship issues. He described it as a contemporary marriage, saying, "Different interests exist among people. I would like to see evidence before believing anyone on Twitter who claims they are about to get a divorce."

Previous reports from the Daily Star suggested that Meghan had been advised to separate from Prince Harry and pursue her career independently in order to salvage it. Both former working royals have faced job losses recently. Some royal experts have speculated that Harry and Meghan are facing significant challenges that could jeopardize their media reputation, especially after their podcast deal was canceled, leading to rumors about their Netflix contract possibly being terminated as well.

Bauer, a former BBC employee of over three decades, also addressed the ongoing scandal surrounding the media outlet. He referred to an unnamed presenter as a mere salesperson and claimed that the accusations against him are reflective of Tim Davy's failure. Bauer stated in the interview, "Davey betrayed exactly why things went wrong by emphasizing the process.

The entire problem lies with someone like Davey, who is just a salesperson and has never produced a TV or radio program in his life. Running a massive news organization like the BBC requires independent judgment, initiative, and creative problem-solving."

According to Bauer, Tim Davy is someone who prioritizes processes and believes in ticking the appropriate boxes. Consequently, when the BBC faced this issue in May, they simply made a quick call, sent an email, and checked a box, which, according to Bauer, showcases the root of the problem.
