Prince Harry Furious: Shouts 'Why Not Me!' After Being Excluded from Charles's Scottish Coronation Plan

Amid preparations for King Charles's official coronation as the Head of State in Scotland on July 5th, Prince Harry found himself left out of the plans, leading to an outburst. The CNN report states that Scotland will commemorate the ascension of King Charles with its own set of festivities.

According to the report, King Charles and Queen Camilla will be joined by Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton.

Scotland's First Minister issued a statement expressing Scotland's warm welcome to the new king and queen in July, with various events marking the coronation. These events include a people's procession, a royal procession, a national service of  Thanksgiving, and a gun salute to be held in Edinburgh.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Prince Harry, along with his wife Meghan Markle, will not be attending the Scottish coronation. Although Harry had attended King Charles's official coronation on May 6th, he did so without Meghan, Archie, and Lillibet.

The relationship between King Charles and Prince Harry has been strained, particularly following the bombshell memoir by Harry. Royal expert Daniel Elser suggests that hopes of reconciliation between the father and son remain bleak, as the relationship continues to deteriorate.

According to Elser, Camilla Tominey of The Telegraph claims that relations between the two remain at an all-time low. In her article for news.com.edu, Elser explores the reasons why reconciliation seems unlikely. Harry's scathing remarks about Camilla in the memoir, casting her as Snow White's Evil Queen, have further strained the already delicate bonds.

Even if Charles were inclined to overlook the grievous light in which Harry portrayed Camilla, there is another significant factor hindering any attempts at reconciliation. Elser suggests that it could all become material for a future bestseller, implying the potential for further damage to the royal family's reputation.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially vacated Frogmore Cottage years after stepping back from their senior roles within the royal family. The couple was not asked to leave the royal abode to make way for Prince Andrew, as rumored. Frogmore Cottage, located on the grounds of Windsor Castle, had been intended as their main residence before they relinquished their royal duties and moved to Southern California. The palace's annual Sovereign Grant report confirmed the news of the cottage vacancy.

During their time as working royals, Harry and Markle resided at Frogmore Cottage, which underwent renovations costing $3.2 million. The couple fully repaid this sum after finalizing their blockbuster Netflix deal in 2020. Now that they have left Britain, it remains uncertain where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would stay if they were to visit the UK.

Prince Harry traveled to London in May, without Markle, to attend his father's coronation. He also made a trip in June from their California home to London's High Court, where he testified in his lawsuit against the publisher of the Daily Mirror. Since their departure from senior royal roles, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have provided insight into their decision-making through various interviews.

During their sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, they accused the palace of expressing concerns over their son's skin color. Meghan also revealed that media scrutiny, mishandled by the royal family, pushed her to contemplate suicide.
