Shailen expressed her discontent in a YouTube video this week, describing the use of her image in the series as defamatory, distorted, and misrepresented.
In the video, Shailen voiced her concerns, stating that if something is presented as fact in a documentary, it should be backed up with evidence.
She resented being described as a middle-aged housewife, clarifying that she is not. Shailen emphasized the importance of factual and fact-checked documentaries, highlighting journalistic processes and the significance of integrity, honesty, and truth.
Shailen further expressed her belief that global citizens are growing weary of Meghan and Harry presenting their story of imagined victimhood as real. She pointed out that eventually, false and defamatory claims will have consequences, and someone will have to take responsibility. In this case, Shailen asserted that she is that person.
