Amber Heard Denies Quitting Hollywood, Confirms Upcoming Projects

Contrary to recent buzz, Amber Heard, the celebrated Hollywood figure, is not bidding adieu to the realm of Hollywood just yet. Despite her 'quiet' relocation to Spain, Heard is set to remain a fixture in the entertainment industry.

Recent reports alluding to her potential departure from Hollywood were promptly debunked by the actress herself. In a brief exchange with a reporter in Madrid, Heard refuted the claims, emphasizing that she is actively involved in several upcoming projects.

In response to inquiries about her film endeavors, Heard candidly shared, "Oh, absolutely. I'm continually moving forward. That's the essence of life," as quoted by Page Six. Taking to TikTok as well, the 'Aquaman' star reaffirmed her commitment, assuring her audience that she will continue her Hollywood journey while residing in Spain.

This marked the first time Heard addressed the speculations that suggested her reluctance to return to Hollywood's spotlight.

Back in May, reports circulated that the 37-year-old, who had previously deactivated her official Twitter account amid a tumultuous legal battle with her former spouse, actor Johnny Depp, had decided to step away from Hollywood after relocating to Madrid, Spain.

The 'Never Back Down' actress reportedly sold her Yucca Valley, California residence in July of the preceding year for an impressive $1.1 million. Since then, she has immersed herself in the charms of Madrid, savoring a quieter life with her two-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige.

Heard, proficient in both English and Spanish, expressed her fondness for her newfound surroundings. "Spain is truly close to my heart," she conveyed in Spanish, her accent embodying the authenticity of her sentiments. In response to queries about her prolonged stay, Heard echoed her contentment, stating, "I hope so. I'm truly loving my time here."

Her decision to relocate comes nearly a year after an arduous defamation trial with Depp. In 2022, the court ruled in favor of Depp, directing Heard to pay him compensatory and punitive damages for defaming him in a 2018 op-ed piece. Following this verdict, Heard sought a retrial, challenging the jury's decision.

Meanwhile, Depp has found his way back to the cinematic sphere with the premiere of 'Jeanne du Barry' at the Cannes Film Festival. Depp's character portrayal, King Louis XV, garnered attention at the prestigious event, where he emphasized his detachment from concerns about Hollywood's reception.

Despite the whirlwind of legal battles and transitions, Amber Heard stands poised to continue her artistic journey, reaffirming her dedication to Hollywood's creative tapestry.
