David Foster Keeps Meghan Markle Waiting 2 Hours, Ghosts Her: Restaurant Staff Spills

Restaurant Staff Reveal David Foster Kept Meghan Markle Waiting for 2 Hours and Ignored Her. Restaurant staff in a small Santa Barbara town have spilled the beans on a surprising encounter involving Meghan Markle and David Foster.

The town is no stranger to famous residents, with the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Ariana Grande also calling it home. According to a waiter at the restaurant, Meghan and Prince Harry were spotted there last October on a double date with Catherine McPhee and David Foster.

McPhee and Markle have been friends since childhood, while Prince Harry and Foster have developed a close bond over the years. The quartet arrived at the restaurant for their evening, with Meghan and Harry even holding hands as they entered. Another waiter, who chose to remain anonymous, shared that the couple frequents the place often, and while they were asked not to discuss or engage with them, it seems like the Royals are quite low-key during their visits.

It appears that over the past two years, Meghan and Harry have visited the restaurant more than three times, often reserving a table for four or six and waiting for their friends to join them. However, after a couple of hours of waiting on this particular night, they settled for a simple meal of salad and pie before leaving the establishment.

The choice of dining at Lucky's is not surprising, given its reputation as one of the most renowned restaurants in Montecito, frequented by many celebrities. While the Royals may prefer to keep a low profile during their visits, the waiter noted that most celebrities who dine there are usually very friendly. Yet, it seems Meghan's reputation for specific restaurant behaviors has led some A-listers to avoid socializing with them.

Interestingly, the couple recently enjoyed a date night at the town's only Michelin-starred restaurant, Sushi Bar. This intimate eatery accommodates only ten diners at a time and offers a lavish omakase tasting menu. Notably, Prince Harry's dietary preference led to a unique arrangement, where he was allowed to bring his own steak from another local restaurant.

These glimpses into Meghan and Harry's restaurant experiences highlight their efforts to maintain a sense of normalcy despite their fame and offer insight into their interactions with both fellow celebrities and restaurant staff.
