Desperate Move: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Latest Play Falls Short in Saving Sinking Ship

Desperately, Megan and Harry's latest play seems insufficient to save their sinking image. The recent move they made in Southside proves that the couple is now out of ideas.  Megan and Harry released a video contacting recipients of funding from the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, where their R-12 Foundation is a founding member. This video marks their high-profile return to the spotlight after facing a series of messy months that reportedly cost them millions.

However, it appears that this idea isn't entirely unique. Prince William also released a video on Monday, featuring him making burgers using Earth shot prize-supported ingredients, products, and packaging worth $97 million. This brings to light Mark Twain's statement that all ideas are second-hand, and Megan and Harry seem to be proving this point.

The Sussex relaunch is underway, signaling the start of a series of globetrotting events where Harry, and possibly Megan, will be seen at a summit in Tokyo, a charity event in Singapore, and the Invictus Games in Germany. A closer look reveals that these events have a distinctly Royal feel to them, with discussions about improving the world, charity outings, and official engagements.

Over the past three years, Megan and Harry have tried their hand at various projects, including podcasts, documentaries, biographies, children's books, and even a role as Chief Impact Officer at a Wall Street firm. However, their track record has been hit and miss, with more misses than hits. Unfortunately, their brand has taken a hit as well, associated with hypocrisy, lies, and family drama.

Despite all their efforts, Megan and Harry's image hasn't evolved into a resounding success story. They need to shake off the whiff of failure and establish themselves with some irrefutable successes, gaining glowing coverage and demonstrating genuine happiness and fashion sense. They might want to revisit Prince Andrew's list of go-to activities for enthusiastic press and photo opportunities.

In the coming weeks, Harry, and perhaps Megan, will have the chance to return to familiar territory, where they won't be expected to come up with groundbreaking ideas or pitch TV shows. Maybe they should adopt the motto of "What would an HRH do?" and rely on established events that guarantee positive coverage and photo ops. This approach could help them overcome the perception of failure that has clung to their reputation.

It seems that all Harry and Megan need to do is go out, shake some hands, smile, pose for selfies, and repeat the process. It's evident that they need some wins after facing a rough period that has severely damaged their brand. The past three months have been challenging, with their paid deals with Spotify and Netflix either gone or reportedly not getting renewed, leaving only their contract with Penguin Random House intact.

Reports suggest that Harry might have to write another book, but the question remains, what could he write about that would sell? While he might have some knowledge about leadership or courage from his time in Afghanistan, it would only interest a limited audience. The path forward is unclear, but their latest video and upcoming mini-tour indicate their return to familiar Royal territory. Their previous attempts to do things their own way haven't been as successful as they hoped.

However, Megan's support for a sustainable California clothing brand called Blue Salt in the video has given the brand a significant boost. Despite the absence of new ideas, there are always new brands to support.

As for the future of Harry and Megan, there are no guarantees of improvement, but the return to charity work and charming people might help with some damage control. Megan's connection with super agent Ari Emmanuel could also play a role in their future endeavors.
