Eugenie Asks Palace to Keep Meghan Markle Off Balmoral as Baby Ernest Makes Debut at King Event

Eugenie Asks Palace to Keep Meghan Markle Off Balmoral as Baby Ernest Makes Debut at King Event

In mid-August, King Charles III and Queen Camilla have planned to continue Queen Elizabeth's long tradition of hosting a family gathering at the Balmoral estate for a summer vacation. Most members of the family are expected to make the trip to the castle, where the late Queen spent her final days.

The guest list includes all of the late Queen's grandchildren, except Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, Princess Eugenie's baby son, Ernest, is expected to make his royal debut for the first time on this cozy occasion. But there's a condition attached to this, as the event will proceed only if Meghan Markle is not invited.

Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, who are already parents to two-year-old August, are likely to attend the summer retreat at Balmoral if Meghan is kept away. There are concerns that the children's images might be sold or used for harassment if Meghan attends, as she had previously faced issues with stolen photos of August being photoshopped by her.

Other members of the Royal Family would also feel uncomfortable if Meghan and Harry were present, as Megan is seen as a diva.

The Palace has announced that King Charles has no plans to invite Harry and Meghan to the Royal Family's reunion at Balmoral this summer. This decision would also mean that their two children, Archie and Lilibet, will not spend the summer with their UK-based relatives. It's evident that tensions are more fragmented between the king and his youngest son now that Charles is the king.

Royal expert Robert Jobson states that there is not much dialogue between the king and Harry, while Royal correspondent Richard Palmer believes that Prince Harry and Meghan won't be invited to the castle, especially after Harry was not allowed by his father to bring Meghan to Balmoral after the death of the Queen.

The new king's plans for Balmoral are not entirely clear yet, but it's reported that he will maintain a few traditional events, such as the Gillies Ball and the end-of-summer celebration, where the Royals dress in Tartan and celebrate with their staff.

There are hopes that he might also continue the famous barbecues, as one local mentioned that "Balmoral wouldn't be the same without his barbecues." However, it remains to be seen how King Charles will put his touch on the estate's time-honored traditions.
