The recent removal of Prince Harry's HRH title from the royal family's official website stirred some controversy. The family has faced criticism for its apparent lapses in updating the website, leaving errors and outdated information unaddressed.
Interestingly, a visit to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's own website, archewell.com, reveals a similar issue - it hasn't been updated either.
Back in June, Meghan and Harry officially announced the conclusion of their multi-million-dollar deal with Spotify, which had initially garnered attention when they signed it in 2020 for a reported $20 million. Under this partnership, the couple produced just one series, "Archetypes," through their Archewell Audio podcast imprint.
The show gained significant popularity, topping podcast charts in multiple markets as Meghan engaged in discussions with influential women.
However, more than two months after the couple and Spotify announced the end of their partnership, archewell.com still prominently features it as one of Meghan and Harry's achievements. A statement on the Archewell Audio page on their website reads: "Archewell Audio is the newly formed, audio-first production company started by The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Archewell Audio will produce programming that uplifts and entertains audiences around the world. Under an exclusive partnership, Archewell Audio will join Spotify and their global reach—180 million Premium subscribers and 406 million monthly active users around the world—to spotlight diverse perspectives and voices.
"As part of the partnership, The Duke and Duchess through Archewell Audio produce podcasts and shows that build community through shared experiences, powerful narratives, and universal values."
This situation raises questions about the accuracy of public information, the timing of updates, and how the couple continues to leverage their past endeavors.
