In a conversation with the Daily Express, royal expert Tom Quinn expressed concerns that Meghan and Harry's aspirations in America might potentially transform into a 'nightmarish' reality.
Tom Quinn conveyed to the Daily Express that there is a possibility that the children of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could find themselves feeling 'horribly trapped' in their new US environment.
He remarked, "I can envision scenarios where Lilibet and Archie might face teasing or even bullying at school due to their royal titles as prince and princess."
Continuing, the royal expert emphasized, "Their situation could become quite constricting."
Tom Quinn, who authored 'Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family,' also drew parallels with the childhood experiences of King Charles when he attended a Scottish boarding school.
Reflecting on this, Tom Quinn shared, "During Charles' time at Gordonstoun, he initially expected to receive respect due to his status as the heir to the throne. Ironically, this led to increased bullying from his fellow students."
Having relocated to the US in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle embarked on a new chapter with their son, Prince Archie. Their family expanded when they welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, in 2021.
