Meghan Markle Frustrated by Inability to Bully George and Lottie at QE's Funeral, Sophie's Watchful Eye Cited

Meghan Markle's frustration flared up as she found herself unable to engage with George and Lottie during Queen Elizabeth's funeral, all thanks to Sophie's vigilant oversight. The spotlight previously fell on Meghan and Sophie's relationship when they shared a car during the Queen's State funeral, part of the solemn procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall.

Notably, during the Queen's funeral, numerous images depicted members of the royal family forming a protective circle around Charlotte to shield her from Meghan, with Sophie playing a significant role in this protective arrangement. This protective stance led many viewers to wonder why the usually innocent and cheerful Charlotte seemed apprehensive in Meghan's presence.

To address this, Sophie revealed that Meghan had attempted to alter Charlotte's hair and outfit right at the funeral, seemingly intending to remind her of her role as a bridesmaid. This revelation left not only the royal family members but especially Kate extremely uncomfortable.

Regarding bullying allegations, Meghan Markle has faced accusations in the past, but Tom Bauer's latest book, "Revenge," has amplified these claims to a staggering degree. Bauer, an investigative journalist, contends that Meghan's actions know no bounds. Meghan reportedly targeted Princess Charlotte when she was just three years old, leading her mother, Kate Middleton, to tears during a bridesmaid fitting.

Rumors have long circulated that Meghan took issue with the length of the bridesmaid dress that Princess Charlotte was instructed to wear at Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry. This dress length was reportedly not in line with royal protocol. Kate had requested Meghan to allow the three-year-old to wear tights with the shoes, as she was concerned about potential blisters, but Meghan remained unyielding.

Following multiple insider leaks to the media, Meghan altered the narrative during her infamous Oprah interview, claiming that it was Kate who had made her cry during the disagreement. However, Bauer's book corroborates the original claims, stating that Meghan indeed reduced Kate to tears over the bridesmaid dress's length. Additionally, the book alleges that Meghan unfavorably compared Princess Charlotte to her best friend Jessica Mulroney's daughter, who was also a flower girl at the wedding, creating further tension.

Sophie also shed light on Meghan's behavior toward the Queen during the early days of her marriage to Harry. The Queen, well-versed in the challenges of royal life, suggested that Sophie Wessex, who had already undergone her own significant transition upon joining the royal family, could serve as an ideal mentor to Meghan. However, Meghan declined the offer, indicating that she didn't believe she needed Sophie's guidance.

Sophie, who hails from a middle-class background and founded a PR firm before joining the royal family, could relate to Meghan's transition. Notably, Sophie was the first member of the royal family to visit the Sussexes after the birth of Archie in 2019, paying a visit to their Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
