Meghan Markle Furious as Royal Team Removes 'Duke' and 'Royal' Tags from Sussexes' Updated Website, Defying King's Order

Meghan Markle Expresses Frustration as Royal Titles Are Omitted from Sussexes on Website Updates Following King's Order. The removal of Prince Harry's HRH styling from the Royal website has sparked controversy. While King Charles enjoys his vacation at Balmoral Castle, behind-the-scenes work continues.

On Tuesday, it was observed on Gert's Royal Twitter that the Royal UK website had undergone changes, featuring four other official web pages. This update followed the earlier removal of Prince Harry's HRH title from the Royal Family's website in early August.

The new menu on the Royal UK website includes links to the Royal Collection Trust, the Prince's Trust (King Charles's charity for at-risk youth), the Royal Foundation (Prince William and Kate Middleton's charity), and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (a youth awards program founded by Prince Philip and currently led by Prince Edward, the new Duke of Edinburgh).

Notably, the "Duke and Duchess of Cornwall" now appear as "The Prince and Princess of Wales" on the website. This change seems to align with the titles they held before the passing of Queen Elizabeth. However, some inaccuracies in content, such as referring to Queen Elizabeth as "The Sovereign," may still be present on the site as of August 4th.

The Royal Family website has yet to be fully updated following Queen Elizabeth's death, and this may account for some discrepancies. The website is undergoing revisions, with over 5,000 pages of information about the royal family's life and work. Until this process is completed, some content may remain out of date.

These adjustments to the website come two weeks after Prince Harry's HRH title was removed from his biography. Although he did not receive his Duke title until his wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2018, references to the Duke of Sussex have not replaced his HRH title in his biographies, which can still be found on the main Royal Family page of the Royal UK site.
