Meghan Markle's Controversial View: UK Charities 'Aren't Worth the Time,' Signaling a Revealing Perspective

Meghan Markle's stance on returning to the UK has raised eyebrows, with some suggesting she views it as "not worth the effort." These claims come from royal historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop, who shared her insights during an interview with The Mirror.

During the conversation, Dr. Dunlop delved into Meghan's apparent decision to skip the WellChild awards, an event honoring seriously ill children. She believes this choice "says a lot" about Meghan's sentiments towards the UK.

Intriguingly, Meghan has reportedly timed her travel plans to align with the start of the Invictus Games, just days after the WellChild charity awards. "Apparently she is not gracing London with her presence," remarked Dr. Dunlop, hinting at Meghan's possible reasoning.

It appears the couple is reserving a "rare Sussex double act" for Germany, where Meghan will join Harry for the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games.

Dr. Dunlop went on to suggest that Meghan's absence from London might reflect her disinterest in Britain. "On this occasion, I suspect Meghan's no-show in London says more about her antipathy towards Britain than the couple's relationship. We don't deserve her, at least so she probably thinks," she added.

The unresolved issue of the couple's UK security and its funding further complicates matters. As for Prince Harry, Dr. Dunlop characterized his potential interactions with the Royal Family as a "blink-and-you-miss-him appearance," with only a handful of family members left who have not lost contact, including Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, and their respective spouses.
