Meghan Markle has officially confirmed her attendance at the upcoming Invictus Games in Germany, where she will be joining her husband, Prince Harry. The couple recently shared a fresh photograph to put an end to persistent rumors and speculations surrounding their European visit.
The Duchess of Sussex is set to grace the event during the latter half of the games, while Prince Harry will be attending the opening ceremony on his own. This confirmation came through a statement from Archewell, the post-royal organization founded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Royal biographer Omid Scobie, a close friend of Meghan Markle, also shared the couple's photo on his official Twitter account. His caption read: "A spokesperson confirms that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are 'delighted to be attending' the @InvictusGames in Düsseldorf next month. Harry will be there from the start, and Meghan will join him later on in the competition, with both of them attending the closing ceremony."
In the released photo, Meghan and Harry can be seen holding up a banner with the words "Invictus Games" while smiling for the camera.

The Invictus Games are set to commence on September 9 with Prince Harry attending the Opening Ceremony solo. Meghan will join him in Germany on September 11, and the couple will be together for the Closing Ceremony on the 19th.
This announcement follows shortly after Prince Harry confirmed his return to the UK on the eve of the first anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's passing, where he will be attending an awards ceremony. However, Meghan will not accompany him on this trip.
