An executive producer closely associated with the popular series, 'The Crown,' has officially confirmed their intentions to handle the portrayal of Princess Diana's passing with utmost sensitivity. The role of the beloved princess will be reprised by Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki, who had previously appeared in the show.
This development coincides with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix, the streaming giant that originally aired 'The Crown.' GB News' Patrick Christys has voiced his perspective, labeling Harry's silence on the matter as "hypocritical." During a conversation with royal expert Charles Rae, Christys pointed out an interesting aspect of Harry's prior comments about 'The Crown.' He recalled a conversation between Harry and James Corden in which the prince expressed his admiration for the series. Christys speculated on how Harry might react to the portrayal of his mother's tragic demise in the show, as some viewers tend to perceive events in 'The Crown' as factual.
Rae, on the other hand, posited that Harry's contractual obligations with Netflix might be the reason behind his reluctance to comment on the matter. He remarked, "I very much doubt that he will speak out. Remember, he is still being paid a lot of money by Netflix. I would be very surprised if he is critical of it."
Christys responded by highlighting what he saw as a potential contradiction in Harry's stance. He suggested that Harry readily shares his opinions on various matters but might refrain from doing so in this case because of the financial relationship he shares with Netflix.
