This year, Prince Harry has made several visits to London, some for work obligations and others related to his ongoing legal matters in the High Court. Notably, he also attended the historic Coronation ceremony of his father, though this visit was a brief 27-hour trip. Throughout all these visits, Meghan did not join him on any occasion.
According to royal commentator Svar Nanan-Sen of GB News, Meghan's decision has left Harry "in a precarious position as he becomes more isolated."
Prince Harry is set to return to the UK once again to participate in the WellChild event in England, followed by his journey to Germany for the sixth edition of the Invictus Games competition. This event closely coincides with the first anniversary of the late Queen Elizabeth II's passing.
Despite her plans to travel to Europe later in the week for the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Germany, Meghan has chosen not to attend the award ceremony alongside her husband.
The expert suggests that Meghan's absence on Harry's trips carries an undertone of awkwardness, and their return to England will serve as a clear reminder of this decision. Furthermore, the abrupt severance of ties with the Royals earlier this year, including their eviction from Frogmore Cottage by King Charles, has left Meghan and Harry without a permanent home.
As a result, the Duke of Sussex will need to seek permission from his father to stay at one of the Royal Family's residences or arrange private accommodation for himself. It is surmised that regardless of the option Prince Harry chooses, he will likely feel a heightened sense of isolation without Meghan by his side.
