Royal expert Tessa Dunlop shared her insights during an interview with Kinsey Schofield. She expressed, 'I think it’s been an incredibly difficult journey… I don’t think Harry has many assets, and he lacked the intellectual acumen and historical perspective to fully grasp what he was attempting to achieve.'
Dr. Dunlop noted that perhaps Harry should have proceeded with more caution, acknowledging the impulsive nature of his initial decisions. She added, 'He needed to take things slower, but I can understand why the impetuous young man, the rival sibling, and the emotionally wounded individual wanted to make rapid progress. They turned out to be formidable challenges, but undoubtedly lucrative ones, now a part of his legacy. I doubt he ever foresaw the complexities...'
Furthermore, Dr. Dunlop highlighted that Harry never fully accepted or appreciated the dynamics within his family. She concluded, 'When you are a member of the Royal Family, you inherit not just a title but also the responsibilities and expectations associated with the institution. This means that, by definition, Harry's worth outside of royalty is diminished compared to his potential within the institution had he chosen to remain.
