Royal expert Kate Mansey took to Twitter to share the findings of the poll, revealing that 52% of Britons surveyed expressed a desire to see Prince Harry removed from the order of succession.
Responding to this, Smith pointed out, "Agreeing with a proposition and being 'keen to' aren't necessarily synonymous. Many people may not hold strong feelings on the matter."
As it stands, Prince Harry occupies the fifth position in the line of succession, trailing behind his elder brother, Prince William, and William's three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Despite his decision to step down from his role as a senior member of the Royal Family, Prince Harry has retained his place in the line of succession. However, a growing sentiment is emerging, advocating for the removal of this privilege from Prince Harry.
The most recent survey, conducted by The Mail on Sunday, reveals that 52% of the British population supports the idea of Prince Harry being removed from the line of succession.
