Ryan Reynolds Teases Meghan Markle's Disney Slip While Acknowledging King's Applause for New Show's Triumph

Ryan Reynolds playfully teases Meghan Markle's Disney setback while basking in King's praise for his new show's triumph. Despite Meghan Markle's concerted efforts to establish her Hollywood presence, both she and Harry appear to be facing a waning influence in the industry.

The snub in Emmy nominations has been perceived as a significant blow to their status, with insiders suggesting that their standing may be slipping, possibly due to their separation from senior royal duties.

A source disclosed to Heat magazine that prominent figures in the celebrity and industry circles, including King Charles and the Wales, are recognizing the diminishing popularity of Meghan and Harry, thus showing reluctance to associate with them. In fact, there are reports that they are actively pitching their projects to King Charles and the Wales.

Recently, King Charles surprised Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, owners of Wrexham AFC, with an unexpected phone call to express his delight in their Disney Plus series, 'Welcome to Wrexham.' The show's success was evident in a trailer for its second season, where Ryan and Rob reflect on the surprise call and the king's visit to the iconic racecourse ground. During this meeting, Ryan humorously remarked on the Canadian perspective, jokingly confessing to not having seen the documentary by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on Netflix.

In a light-hearted exchange, Ryan and Rob playfully referenced Meghan and Harry's transition from royal life and Meghan's apparent loss of her Disney Plus deal. As the pair welcomed the King's visit, Ryan expressed his enthusiasm for uplifting the community and the club, emphasizing the positive impact of the royal connection.

Meanwhile, King Charles acknowledged the significance of Wrexham as one of the newly designated cities to commemorate the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. Delivering a speech at St. Charles's Church, the King highlighted the historic moment and expressed both pride and nostalgia for his mother's affinity for Wales.

The royal connection to Wrexham's elevation to city status was celebrated in the splendid setting of the magnificent church, which has earned its distinction as one of Wales's seven wonders.
